System builders world wide depend on the durable Hydra-Cell pump for reliable high pressure coolant delivery.  Seal-less design enables the pump to handle metal particles and run dry without damage.

Fine filtration is not required to protect the pump.  Particles as large as 500 microns in diameter can be tolerated.  Filtration levels can be matched to the work piece or tooling, saving costs on ancillary equipment.

Why Hydra-Cell?
Hydra-Cell pumps are seal-less. No seals, no seal wear – No leaks. No loss of performance. No frequent repairs. Less downtime. Long-term reliability, with minimal routine maintenance.

Hydra-Cell pumps can handle solids up to 500 microns, or more. They can be pumped without fine filtration. System costs are reduced and maintenance is simplified.

Most pumps in the Hydra-Cell range can operate at any pressure from <1 bar up to at least 70 bar. Some models up to 170 bar.

Flow is steady, with little pulsation.

Flow is controllable and predictable regardless of the cutting fluid in use (emulsion or neat oil coolant).

As pressure increases, there is very little change in flow rate

The pumps can handle any type of coolant – solvent-based, water-based mineral or synthetic oil emulsions, or neat oil – as well as the dielectric fluids and DI water used in EDM drilling and the abrasive slurries in ECM drilling operations.  The pumps can run dry without damage.  Model options allow pumping at pressures up to 170 bar.  Maintenance requirements are minimal.  High pumping efficiency reduces motor size and energy consumption.
