Reverse Osmosis

The seal-less nature of the Hydra-Cell pump (which is also ATEX approved) enables charged and dirty liquids to be processed without need for fine filtration to protect the pump.

The pump needs little maintenance and can operate on continuous duty at high pressure.

Pulsation is low, so dampeners may not be required.

Why Hydra-Cell?
Hydra-Cell pumps are seal-less. No seals, no seal wear – No leaks. No loss of performance. No frequent repairs. Less downtime. Long-term reliability, with minimal routine maintenance and low repair costs.

Hydra-Cell pumps can handle solids up to 500 microns, or more. They can be pumped without fine filtration. System costs are reduced and maintenance is simplified.

Flow is steady, with little pulsation.

The pump is tolerant of operator error as it can run dry and the patented Kel-Cell mechanism protects the pump from adverse inlet conditions, such as a blocked filter or an accidently closed valve.

Seal-less design marks out the Hydra-Cell from other RO pumps and is the basis of its long service life – many of the liquids pumped are harmful to pump seals.  The pump is tolerant of small solids, resistant to chemical and corrosive attack.

Energy costs, a serious problem with many pumps on continuous duty, are held down by the high efficiency and low horsepower requirement of the Hydra-Cell pump.
